Introducing Metropole – Discounted Subscriptions for VE members

I think you will spend 99 seconds reading this post

Metropole was launched as a print and online magazine back in October 2015, appearing 10 times a year (monthly with a double issue at year-end and in the summer), determined to serve the best of Vienna and Austria to English-speaking expats and internationals. The aim is to allow readers to draw on everything Vienna has to offer – in their career, as well as their free time.

For a discounted subscription, read on…

Every issue turns the spotlight to one main subject, examining it from different angles to give the full picture. Learn about what moved Austria in the past, and what moves it today. Get acquainted with local culture and people. Equipped with our event and location tips, boredom and loneliness don’t stand a chance. Move about the city as if you grew up here with the regular column My Home is My Grätzl. Meet other readers, entrepreneurs and international influencers at one of our events to connect and exchange ideas.

The magazine also has an educational remit: there is a noble aim to help young Austrians to improve their spoken and written English skills, to prepare them for life in the growing international community. Through METROPOLE’s Education Subscription, teachers get the METROPOLE issue and a lesson plan for English class delivered to the classroom every month.

We offer print, as well as digital subscriptions. For ideal accessibility, choose our combined print and digital subscription. That way, if you can’t finish an article at breakfast, continue reading on your smartphone or tablet on the way to work.
