Today I am motivated, the dog is providing the incentive. she has been happily playing in the white stuff twice this morning and bugging me to go out for more.

I recently found iceskating is fun, even though i still ache from my last fall.
I went sledging once and it was fun.
As for the rest, I hate winter, I hate this cold, my skin is falling off no matter how much lotion i put on, I hate wearing 4 layers of clothes, snow is nice but once in a while, not for months and months :(

I too hate it when it is cold wind and rain. But fresh snow I find so exhilerating, especially when it is sunny too!

I guess coming from the UK, I am still somewhat snow-starved!

It's so gloomy out there today that I can only console myself by feeling glad that I don't live in a Scandinavian city, where I guess it's still as dark as this every day and only a few hours at that before night falls again.

I don't like it, it's the same forum format used by my former WoW community... sad memories ;(

The new forum in most respe4cts is good. However the highlight for new posts could be better, and I miss clicking on the last person on a thread and seeing their posts. Oh well this dog can learn new tricks......

I like it. Especially the weather forecast. But my avatar looks ridiculously big now!

(snowdog, can't you just click on 'new posts?' that should bring up just the new posts you haven't read yet since last time you logged in, like with the old forum)

@Eric next to the poster's name there is a small icon which if you click on it will take you to the last post in a thread.
Vienna is like an Ikea sofa - you know you should upgrade, but why bother when it is this comfortable.

How has no one used the scribbly pad in almost a year? :?:

the presence of too many online prats made me curtail my participation in general, don't know about others...
