Foreign Students in Austria: rejoice!

Post by CapnNismo » Thu May 26, 2011 8:15 am

This is pretty awesome stuff for anyone that is a foreigner in Austria and the law goes into effect on July 1st, 2011. I've gotten an internship for the summer so I can work full-time, but during the semester something like that would not be allowed at all, however, under the new law it will be.

I don't think there are many people here that are actually studying at the Austrian universities, but for those of us that are, this is pretty heavy news.

boggled.

The job I was doing made more than the higher-rate requirement. /I would have been able to keep the job, even though I was going to school/.

Bastards.

Anyway, the job I just got pays twice what I was making. No further complaints, and I get to laugh at Austria: Hey Austria! Think of all the tax money you are now NOT GETTING FROM ME, cause you wouldn't let me stay/work. Haha. Lols.
scribble.
