The David Bowie song 'Heroes', covered by a scottish band called 'The Script' will be the theme song of the 2012 Olympics in London

I really don't think David Bowie songs should be covered. Ever.

Oh, man. Bummer. Suck suck suck.
What an amazing actor. Can't think of anyone else right off-hand with an oeuvre such as his. The fact that he made his mark in the 60's with such a string of downbeat films is amazing to me: The Hustler, Hud, Cool Hand Luke, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof - and through it all people tend to remember the smile and forget how depressing they were. That, my friends, is charisma.

He'll be missed. May have to pop in Cool Hand Luke to commemorate the passing...

Britney-in-NYC Update Four: The pop star decided to visit a school today in order to prove how much more normal she is now. Unfortunately, the school was closed due to Rosh Hashanah, so her people reportedly had to round up 20 neighborhood kids to meet her.

Hugh Hefner and Holly Madison are no more. And apparently Kendra will also be an ex when she moves out at the end of the year. Le sigh. The end of a five-minute era.

Is Jamie Lynn Spears pregnant again?

Reports are swirling that Britney Spears' little sister Jamie Lynn Spears, 16, who gave birth to a daughter in July, is pregnant again.

But this time, pals are begging her to consider other options.

According to unidentified sources, Jamie Lynn didn't know a woman can get pregnant while breast-feeding. (Because mother's milk is a sure-fire contraceptive?)

“Jamie Lynn is eight weeks pregnant right now, and she and her mom [Lynne Spears] are hysterical,” revealed a close source. “Neither of them knows what to do, but for now they’re trying to keep the news from getting out."

Well, so much for their efforts.

Of course, the National Enquirer is the main source of these stories.

But they were right all along about John Edwards having an affair with ... what was her name? Oh right, Rielle Hunter.

However, TMZ is now reporting that Jamie Lynn is not preggers! And they want someone to go get Lynn Spears down off the roof.

Shall we arrange for that shipment of condoms to the Spears family home or wait until this upsetting rumor is proved absolutely true or totally false?

This rumour is hilarious! :-D

And one last entry. Saw a similar picture on EOnline, looked up a copy to post here, and find that he wears this t-shirt constantly. Kinda neat.

Tom was quoting from another source and didn't cite it.

Michelle Williams is dating Spike Jonze. And Jennifer McCarthy says she has cured her son of autism. And then Katie Holmes did something that is completely uninteresting. Surprise!

The wait is over. Vanilla Ice has re-released his greatest hits and added a few interpretations of his very own interpretations of classic hip hop songs. I plan to rush to my local store and get the Vanilla Ice version of 'Baby Got Back,' 'Insane in the Membrane,' and of course the most a propos song this entertainer could possibly do, 'Fight the Power.'

Yeah he is yummy - and he was under consideration to be the next James Bond. I think he would have really looked the part.

Strange, I don't find him that attractive, a bit feminine even. Althought with a beard he is kind of ok.
