The new Bond movie - what did we all think?

For me this was the best movie out of the whole franchise (not because I am a big fan of the current Bond, I am not ) - it had the right balance of action and plot and basically kept me on the edge of the seat.
However, looking back there were a few times where I would have changed things (just tweaked them a little)

Also, loved loved loved the opening credits (and didn't at all mind the new Q )

When in charge ponder. When in trouble delegate. When in doubt mumble. When asked to clarify, say "Trust me".

I saw it last night at the Artis - I 'spose one measure I could use is that even at over 2 and a half hours it kept my attention.

It was OK...felt like a rehash of old bond films though, a bit disjointed in places with a lacklustre, for Bond, story line.

It's also a shame that they felt they had to shrink Istanbul (one of the largest cities in Europe) to the size of a small town.

Wow factor, out of 10 - 2 (Terminator 2 had a wow factor of 9)

I enjoyed it but, out of the recent Bonds with Daniel Craig, I preferred Casino Royale.

Normally I like Javier Bardem's roles but not this one. And yes, the film was a tad too long.

Still - a massive improvement on the lame "Quantum of Shoelace".
