Student Health Insurance

Post by 1brucben » Tue Aug 20, 2019 8:08 pm

I am looking at student health insurance options for my residence permit. I was rejected at Feelsafe because I have a preexisting condition. I have insurance as a dependent in the United States from my parents.

The application form for the public insurance seems to suggest that I need to be uninsured to qualify? Would I be required to get rid of my American insurance in order to sign up? (this seems a bit absurd, I hope it is not the case because my American insurance is not sufficient to meet the requirements of MA-35).

Also, does anyone know of any other private insurers that are accepted by MA35 for the residence permit?

Vienna is like an Ikea sofa - you know you should upgrade, but why bother when it is this comfortable.
